The Continuing Goal of Canadian Revival Fellowship Ever since its birth in the flames of the 1971-72 "Canadian Revival", the Fellowship's intention has been to prepare God's people for His wider workings. Since we believe God is now preparing everything for a great spiritual awakening, we are committed to advancing the Church in those preparations through revival ministries to the inner life of as many local churches as possible. Yes, we present personal revival in the local church as a basis for preparing God's people from the inside out to disciple an awakened incoming harvest. This is done by helping local leadership attempt to reach the following objectives: I. Cleansing - inward direction of revival; then, II. Restoration and Fellowship - sideward direction of revival; then, III. Intercession - upward direction of revival; then, IV. Follow through - onward direction of revival; and then, finally, V. Outreach - outward direction of revival. We believe that churches which definitely undergo these five phases (and in that order) will be on the way toward what God intends for the local church, and more ready to minister to the influx of seekers after God which characterize spiritual awakening. These five objectives are being encouraged through specific Canadian Revival Fellowship ministries. |
